Ahold has revealed that third party retailers achieved sales of EUR100 million, on its bol.com platform, over the past 12 months.
- The website enables other retailers to sell through its platform in the Netherlands and Belgium.
- Already featuring over 2.5 million SKUs, bol.com recently added Baby & Toddler, Jewelry & Watches, Sports & Leisure and Furniture to its assortment.
- bol.com showcases a store partner’s offering before its own if it is deemed a better fit, based on the shopper requirements.
- Partners can add their products to the platform free of charge and pay Ahold a fee for the items sold.
