The retailer is currently working on improvements to its online store, launched in 2011.


  • It has launched dedicated website where it recruits IT specialists, software developers and web designers.
  • Galeria Kaufhof plans to generate 10% of its sales from online channel, and the website has already delivered EUR 50 million revenue in 2013 and the turnover continue to grow.
  • In March 2014 Klaus Hellmich has been appointed as Managing Director of Multi-channel Retailing at Galeria Kaufhof.
  • In the summer Galeria has equipped its 105 stores with 1,100 tablets allowing integration of online and offline businesses.
