Following the successful launch of ‘the hudl’ tablet in 2013, Tesco has announced that it will launch the ‘hudl 2’ in next few weeks. It will be an upgraded version of ‘the hudl’, in terms of screen size, speed, design and other accessories, to target it as a primary functional device. In early 2014, the retailer announced its plans to develop a smartphone under the brand ‘hudl’ but due to growing competitiveness in the mobile market,  it has decided to put the launch of phone on hold and to focus on ‘hudl 2’ tablet.
