To strengthen its e-commerce capabilities, Sainsbury’s has completed the roll out of a new multichannel grocery website, ‘sainsburys.co.uk’. The fully operational website will provide shoppers with a more convenient and intuitive shopping experience.
- The new site is loaded with various features such as improved navigation, new products & brands, call centre capability, recipes, in-store support tools, personalize offers and in-store integration into 225 stores across the UK.
- The site is also optimized for mobile and tablet users.
- The retailer is currently trialling its click and collects services where shoppers can able to pick their products from more than 1,000 stores.
