Ahold is trying to improve the profitability of its AH-Afhaalpunt.nl delivery service using partners to expand the service.

The retailer will have three priorities in 2015:

  • The online client comes first
  • Optimise the ordering process.
  • Expand the number of pick-up points through partnerships.

Currently the retailer operates 30 pick-up points and four are expected to open in the near future.
