Boots Opticians has replaced its “buy-one-get-one-free” offer from “buy-one-get-one-half-price” on multiple pairs in a single transaction. It has shifted its focus from its core “buy-one-get-one-free” offer to the premium eye care.

  • The offer will roll out to all Boots Opticians in the current week followed by a nine-month trial and supported by a TV advertising campaign releasing today.
  • Under its premium eye care strategy, the retailer will offer anti-reflection coating and UV protection on the front and back of its all glasses free of cost, used to cost around GBP 70 in addition to the spectacles.
    • The retailer has increased its range of glasses by 50% with the addition of new brands such as Jigsaw.
