Amazon is planning to allow its customers to collect parcels from over 300 Mainline Rail Stations across the UK. The service is called Doddle, which implies it is easy to use and is a joint venture between Network Rail who operate the train stations and Lloyd Dorfman who founded Travelex. Doddle differs from other click & collect propositions as some of the locations will be fully staffed and have fitting rooms so customers from the likes of ASOS can try on their items and return them straight away. Mr Dorfman said that Amazon was " The most convincing customer we've come to an agreement with" and that subject to systems integration Amazon would start using the service from September.
